Star Spangled Heights Parade Saturday, July 1 at 10a
Sit, Stay, N’ Play will be walking with our pups in the Star Spangled Heights Parade and we would love for you to join us! The parade starts at the Huber Centre and goes down Brandt Pike to Nebraska Ave. Meet us at the Huber
Centre at 9:40am with your pup and join the fun!
Our head trainer, Katrina, will be starting several different classes to fit all ages and varieties of behavioral issues. All of Katrina’s classes are force free and require a clicker and treats, but don’t worry! Katrina will teach you how to wean your dog(s) off of food rewards and teach you how to use real life rewards in order to maintain training no matter where you and your pooch wander.
1. Puppy Kindergarten: Saturdays 5:30p-6:30p for 4 weeks starting July 8
This class will be available for puppies under 6 months of age. This class will encompass basic manners, socialization, introduction to simple commands, and troubleshooting problem behaviors.
2. Intermediate Class: Fridays 6:15-7:15 for 6 weeks starting on July 7
This will be for older puppies or dogs that do not have any training background. This will again, focus on basic commands, troubleshooting problem behaviors, and learning additional commands.
3. Impulse Control 101: Fridays 7:30p-8:30p for 6 weeks starting on July 7
While this class is for dogs of all ages, our trainer does ask that your dog have a few of the basics under their belt before starting this class. Impulse control 101 focuses on the distracted canine. Helping owners to maintain focus, and teach their dogs about availability while also keeping their dog(s) calm in unfamiliar environments.
Limited space is available, multiple dogs from the same family welcome. Register at our front desk or online.
